We are planning a visit to the PRESCOTT HILL CLIMB. This particular event is an invitation only event and we will see various sports cars negotiating the hill climb.

Carol has spoken to Ian, General Manager of the Bugatti Club who own the Hill climb and he has kindly invited us, as a club to spectate, and, if we pay in advance he will give us a club discount and drop the entry fee to £11.00. He has also said that he may be able to offer us (the club) a drive up the hill course during lunchtime. We have to let him know if we would be interested in this! We need to know As soon as possible please.

A Luxury Lunch Cruise on the Countess of Evesham along the River Avon, out of Stratford upon Avon. The Cruise will last 3 hours from 12 noon til 3pm. During this time you will be eating a 3 course meal The cost is £23.00 per head and the date of this event is Sunday 5th October. We need a £10.00 deposit per person as soon as possible please to secure our places as this is a popular cruise. Dont forget to let us know who you are when you write! If you want to combine the deposit for the cruise with the Hill climb that is fine, but please make that clear when you send it to us (Cheques made out to Mr J Fowler please)

The Menu is A choice of starters and mains plus a dessert:
STARTER:
Home made tomato and basil soup (garnished with fresh cream & Basil leaves
OR
Bacon, Brie and Grape Salad (served on iceberg lettuce with Mayonnaise)

MAIN
Roasted Pork (served with creamy apple & calvados sauce)
OR
Baked fillet of Salmon (herb crusted & served with a lemon sauce)

Both main courses are served with a selection of market vegetables.

DESSERT
Homemade Apple & Blackberry Crumble (served with traditional custard)

VEGETARIANS.......

The following are your main course options...Please can I have YOUR choice in advance - and apparently if you could possibly agree on one choice between you the Chef would be very grateful (sorry).......

BAKED BELL PEPPER (filled with an assortment of vegetables, gratinated with cheese & served with wild rice & a tomato & basil coulis

MUSHROOM STROGANOFF (served on a bed of pasta)
