Pooh-Sticks World Championships 2004

The event is based on
A.A. Milne's tales about Winnie the Pooh and friends.
The championships, known across the
globe, involves dropping a stick from a bridge over a river and seeing
how fast it travels to cross a finishing line.

Silver to Team Latin America - Captain Diego Benavides, Ecuador.
Bronze Medal to Mazda MX5 2nd Team.- Captain Alan Ward, UK.

Just received this news.
MX-5 Oxford Area made it to National TV... :-)
There was a brief shot of Dave, Jenny and others on Trans World Sport shown last weekend,
Channel 4.
About 42 minutes in there was a piece about the Pooh stick championships and the only shot of people other than Pooh and friends was the Oxford area club members !!!!!
Mazda MX5 Oxford......as seen on T.V !!!
